Myocastor coypus.

This big rodent is also a big problem to native specimens in Europe. I have took those pictures on France, Champigny-sur-Marne. I think we don't have it in Portugal. Do you have in Italy??

On France they have invade the rivers on 70 departements and without any wild predators they will continue to expand. For know cosmetics industry has begun do sell products made from this fellows.

And some french are eating them... baahhh. .. ok... maybe is good. But don't invite me!!

yes Rui, unfortunately we have Myocastor coypus

 

in Italy is called Nutria ad it is e serious problem for the biological community and also for hydraulicus security
