Etimologia

Dal latino ''cavipes'', gambo cavo; per il suo gambo cavo.

 

Habitat/Periodo Di Comparsa

Comune ed abbondante, anche ad alte quote, in simbiosi con il larice (Larix decidua).

 

Descrizione

Cappello 5-13 cm. conico-convesso, peloso-fibrilloso, bruno arancio, rossiccio.

Imenoforo tubuli corti, larghi, giallognoli-olivastri; pori grandi, angolosi, settati, giallastri.

Gambo cilindrico, cavo, con un anello fioccoso concolore al cappello.

Carne molla e fibrosa, giallognola; odore e sapore poco pronunciati ma gradevoli.

 

Commestibilità

Mediocre Commestibile.
