Etimologia

Dal latino ''silvaticus'', delle selve; per il suo habitat.

 

Habitat/Periodo Di Comparsa

In boschi di conifere (peccio), ma anche sotto latifoglie, o presso radure boschive. Estate-Autunno.

 

Descrizione

Cappello 6-14 cm, convesso indi disteso; con squame nocciola-brunastre appressate che ricoprono la parte sottostante bianca.

Lamelle libere, strette, rosso-grigiastre indi bruno-seppia; filo biancastro.

Gambo cavo, fibrilloso, molto allargato alla base; anello alto, ampio e lacerato.

Carne biancastra, al taglio da giallo-aranciata diviene porpora intenso, specie presso le lamelle. Odore lieve.

Commestibile.
