Ciao I had one Fuji S602Z. A bridge camera very versatil and the macro was nice. Excelent for shooting small things like mushrooms, insects and things like that. I have also used to make 3D textures for my models. But it was only 3.3 mpx and yesterday I went to Pixmania showroom here in Lisboa and I've buy the fuji S9600 wich difers from the S9500 by having the stabilizer and some other things. They are selling over the world by internet for only 500 € and i believe it is a fair price comparing with the others. You can do a lot with this kind of camera and you dont need to have to spend a lot. I will try to upload some pictures after the weekend. Mario- Nice pictures! I agree with you, digital pictures can gain a lot with some software manipulation. Photoshop CS2 lets you do the Shadows/Highlights to recover details on darker or brighter areas. Like the Unsharp mask (you probably use) can do miracles on shaked pictures. Color correction with lots of carefull., and crop to remove less interesting areas. And ... voilá... we see the diference.
